Kimberly Headrick, GEM of Appreciation

Please join me in congratulating Mrs. Kim Headrick as the Gem of Appreciation for our campus! Kim joined the Quest family earlier this year as a long term substitute assisting with our special education program. Since that time Kim has been hired as an instructional partner to continue to assist our campus. Kim has a positive influence on our student population and is always willing to help any student overcome difficulties. Her patience and ability to find the best in students makes her a true Gem for our campus. A Field Trip to Remember...The National Museum of the Pacific War, Fredericksburg, TX

Each year students at Quest High School take a field trip to the Pacific War Museum to learn more about World War II and the men and women who served. This special event was surrounded by wonder and awe as the students were able to experience the small living quarters on a mini sub and view a fast attack boat like the one John F. Kennedy served on. After the museum students and staff headed to GattiLand in Fredericksburg for lunch and had a wonderful time. These are the authentic experiences that "Craft the Future" for our students in Burnet CISD. Thank you for supporting our fundraisers which make these experiences possible for our students.

Shady Grove Fall Festival - Fun for all ages!

Each year Quest High School helps with activities at the Fall Festival held at Shady Grove Elementary School. The students of Quest High School supervise fun carnival games and hand out candy to the excited first graders. It is a special time for our students and the students of Shady Grove Elementary. Mrs. Darlene Denton hosts the event and we always wonder who has more fun...the students at Quest High School or the elementary students. Face painting is always a hit alongside our guest visitor with horses. We share a special partnership with the parent resource center and our students love to participate in giving back to our community. A special shout out to all of the students and teachers who participated as everyone had fun.
