Quest High School is proud to honor Mrs. Kendall Blakely as our November 2025 GEM (Going the Extra Mile) Award recipient. The GEM Award is presented quarterly across Burnet CISD to recognize individuals who make an exceptional impact on their campus and community.
Nominators highlighted Mrs. Blakely’s unwavering dedication to her students and her commitment to helping them master often challenging mathematical concepts. She is highly skilled in intervention, progress monitoring, and providing individualized support to students who need extra guidance. Her focus on strong student relationships and responsive teaching has made a clear difference in the success and confidence of her learners.
In addition to her student-centered approach, Mrs. Blakely has demonstrated remarkable professional growth this year as she continues to refine her instructional practice in a unique, nontraditional environment. Her resilience, positivity, and determination to grow alongside her students make her an invaluable member of the Quest HS team.
Mrs. Blakely exemplifies Burnet CISD’s mission of Better Together through her servant leadership, collaboration, and commitment to student success. We are grateful for the heart, expertise, and dedication she brings to our campus each day.
