QHS Educator of the Year! Congratulations Todd Overstreet!

Todd is an exceptional asset to our staff. He has a way of motivating each student to learn and be successful at Quest and in our DAEP program. His approach to teaching our most at-risk students has made it a lot easier for students to believe they can be successful at school. His one-on-one approach has proven to be a successful technique in helping students understand expectations and have a plan for success. Todd has a way with students in helping them cope with extreme behavior issues while always staying positive. Students understand that “Mr. O” is willing to sit down with them at any time and explain anything that they might not understand. Students also know that when they come into his classroom that they will be treated fairly and with respect. Not only does Todd do all of this for Quest/DAEP but he also serves as a pole vault Coach on
his own time. He is consistently positive and has a friendly demeanor that students and staff respond positively to. Mr. Overtreet is a blessing to Quest High School and all of Burnet CISD.
